Sad news, R.I.P to the big fella.
Lasting images of Gordon McQueen are the photo of him rising to head Scotland into the lead at Wembley 1977 and giving a right hook to his own goalkeeper, David Harvey, when they were at Leeds.

One of my earliest football memories is watching him on TV forM Man U. He fouled the opposition goalie iirc.
Stuck with me even since 1979 and formed the basis for my own playing style.

RIP, top class defender. Didn't realise so many ex pro's seem to be suffering from it. Stan Bowles, Gordon Cowan's and Dave Watson to name but three. Such a cruel disease.
